Company and decision-maker data

The right companies, the right people, data for a specific purpose.

We build company and contact lists for your sales activities. Together, we define the selection criteria, required information, verification scope and delivery format. We then source, complete and organize the data.

When it fits

When does it make sense to have a prospect list built?

You're starting without a list

You want to start outreach, but don't yet have a list of relevant companies and contacts.

You're looking for the right people

You know which companies you're after, but you need to establish who to contact.

You're entering a new market

You're entering a new market or segment and starting from scratch.

You want to free up your team

Your sales team spends time looking up contacts instead of having conversations.

You can come with criteria already defined, or with only a general direction - refining the criteria is part of the work, not a condition for starting it.

Scope and outcome

How a prospect list is built.

The work can include the steps below. The level of detail depends on how you plan to use the list - a campaign targeting a specific segment requires different information from a broader overview of the market.

01Criteria We agree on the companies and roles to include, along with the exclusion criteria.
02Sourcing We find the companies and people that meet the criteria.
03Completing the data We fill in the agreed set of fields.
04Checking and cleanup We check the data within the agreed scope, remove duplicates, and apply the exclusions you've specified.
05Delivery We deliver the list in the agreed format. Before work begins, we agree on the scope of verification and how to indicate missing data and when information was last checked.

What you get

A list in the agreed format

Companies and people, with the information chosen for the activity you're planning.

A description of the selection criteria

Which companies and roles we included, and which exclusions we applied.

Information on data quality

Details of the checks performed, missing information and when data was last checked, within the agreed scope.

Not every field can be filled in for every record - we flag what's missing rather than filling it in with a guess. Later updates are agreed separately.

A company or person appearing on the list does not mean they are interested in your offer.

Working together

Your market knowledge. Our work on the data.

Your team brings

  • Knowledge of your product, your offer and your target customers.
  • Exclusions current clients, partners, competitors.
  • Agreements the delivery format and where the data will be used.

MSGA prepares

  • Criteria refining which companies and roles are in scope.
  • Sourcing companies and people that meet the criteria.
  • Completion the agreed information about companies and people.
  • Checking the data within the agreed scope, with a record of what could not be established.

The delivery format is agreed before we start. Importing into a CRM or setting up an integration is a separate arrangement - we don't assume either is part of the engagement.

After the list is deliveredYour team uses the delivered list for outreach and sales. If you also need us to run the outreach, we agree that scope separately.
